South Promenade. 

We are located at the South Promenade from here you can do some cold water swimming, on a good day you will find cold water swimmers up at the harbour.  

There is a fantastic cafe; Olive Bizzare they do a fab grilled breakfast and dog friendly.  Harbour House is close; does a great lunch and dinner, dog friendly and like Olive B overlooks the sea. 

Head on up past Harbour House and 

Gateway to the Mournes. 

Walk out the Bothys gate and to the left round the corner is a gateway to: 

Glen River - waterfall 0.5km walk

Ice House - approx 1.2km

Saddle between Donard and Commedagh (as seen in the photo). 

Donard mountain - 850m

Commedagh mountain - 767m

This is a beautiful walk and you can walk as far as you please, you can see amazing views of the mountains and the sea.
